Upgrading the light from a cheap LED to a decent but affordable LED and can hope to see a difference in electricity bill and yield.

Looks like gravel. Does great in flower based compost teas and top dressing during the flowering stage. I am getting bigger yields and better tasting flowers.

I found out that I was underwatering my plants immediately after installing and my current run is going to be my biggest yield so far. Highly recommend if you are wanting to dial in your watering

Craft blend top dressed on BAS 3.0 is almost set and forget in an Earthbox. Yield, quality and peace of mind has been my experience. It's upped my game. Thanks Jeromy and BAS team.

Top dressing a 3x3, 60 gallons pot, you wouldn't expect much. My plants reacted within the first watering after applying and covering with straw. My yield and quality increased and the flavor is amazing. My house genetics actually evolved into something I almost didn't recognize, pungent and greasy like I hadn't seen befor. Usually a 12 week flower grow with verying degrees of maturity, my babys were ready in 10 and more evenly matured throughout. I only supplemented fresh coconut water and whey from my home made yogurt for flower and the results are amazing. Quality in, quality out.

I have an officially sewed seed in it yet, but I’m all prepared. I got some strawberry milk and cookies Skywalker OG, auto flower, and some gummy bears. I’m about to put in there along with the city picker raised bed. I’m real happy with everything I’ve got from Bill Doyle and the knowledge from Jeremy‘s videos. Thank you so much for that. I’ll attach the video and a picture of a seed I found on the seat of a car I think it was the gumbo. I like to call this plant my omega since the legalization in Minnesota. It’s my first full growth start to finish I’ve been able to do I did almost killed this plant twice I overwatered it in the beginning to the point of lock where it was dying and then I decided to just transplant it to try to save it and then I ripped out like half the roots Just goes to show how resilient these plants are. I transplanted into build the soil light soil and the other half 3.0 so we could grow from the light into the 3.0 and it’s just flourished ever since it is a bit of a run but I’m gonna get a pretty good yield so I’m pretty happy and it looks just bomb. Thank you so much build the soil.

I used this as directed on the last indoor run and ended up with some really nice buds and an above average yield. Let everything go 72 days and ended up with beautiful, stacked, super dense frosty nugs. Dunno how good just shy of 1/2lb per plant in a 10 gallon is but it’s really good for me. For the next cycle I’ll still use as directed, in addition to the KNF style ferments that I inoculated with the stuff and the kashi blend that’s also inoculated with it.
So yeah I’m gonna keep using it and find more ways to keep using it. Seems like this stuff deserves every bit of hype it gets.

Well I haven’t used it. However I will soon. This picture is an auto flower. Im running a 18-6 light cycles. This a seed from Humboldt Seed Co. the strain is Emerald Fire OG. I am running craft blend build a bloom yield a flower coconut water in light blend planted in a build a soil earth box. Absolutely BAS has the best organic nutrients on the market. If you’re thinking about going with living soil do it! You won’t regret any products this company makes. Also they have the best customer service happy to answer any questions with knowledge and understanding of their products. Honestly I can’t say enough good about this company. Get on the organics from BAS. If you have any questions about living soil call and ask a representative of BAS. You call they pick up the phone. I’ve relied on their guidance and it paid off . This plant isn’t even fully developed and looks great already. Literally over night my plants respond to their products. Give them a try ! These guys are totally legit. Their products are tested and posted clearly for the customer to look at. You know exactly what you’re getting and it’s top quality living soil organics. It’s very simple for a newbie’s to run their system. The earth boxes really work as well. Just start out with a bag of Craft Blend you can run just that product through veg and flower. Very balanced nutrient top dress. It’s that simple guys! The jar is a Galatamoe different strain as pictures.

Adding alfalfa meal to my soil has been a wonderful addition. It has helped tremendously with my plant growth and production. I grow with only organic matter and the alfalfa meal is wonderful. I have seen a marked improvement in my vegetable garden yields. Getting ready to order another 40 lbs for my fall planting.

I added kelp meal to my soil this winter prior to planting my spring seedlings and it has been wonderful for plant growth and fruit production. My yields have way surpassed last year’s yields and the kelp meal has been a big contributor to the improvements. Getting ready to purchase another food grade bucket for this fall’s planting.

Just got my second bag of Craft Blend. My first BAS grow was phenomenal, just followed advice on their free grow sheet. Two indoor plants in 15 gal fabric pots, 3/4 lb yield. Wow! This summer will be my first outdoor grow. Crazy excited to get started.

I’ve been impressed with the transparency concept. Good stuff from good sources.
I haven’t gone BAS system completely. I’ve started small and have added as I’ve learned and as needed.
My main BAS use is 3.0. Quite happy! Soil, plants and self!!!
My plants didn’t need much at besides water. The first run was small at 8” tall. 2 plants yielded about 2 ozs.
Second run in same soil is going well.
I’ve expended from 7 gallon fabric pots to 25’s.
I started with autos and planned to move into photoperiod after/if grows were successful.
Third round is also going. Improved genetic selection and improved plant size and yield to 2 oz. per plant.
I look forward to learning my next soil educational phase, soil reamendment.
Thank you for providing as much information as you have. Please continue to. You do not go unheard!!

If can only buy one product for your grow, this is it! It can help turn cheap soil into rich fertile living soil. Just add microbes and your set. I have gone through 50 lbs of this product in the past 2 years. The plants really thrive and my yield has increased dramatically.

I have been using Build a Soil craft blend for 2 seasons now and I have doubled my yield but more importantly the quality of my harvest is 10X better than I even had using synthetic fertilizer. It matters!!! My wife is fighting Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer and I only want the best for her. The best of the best is all in one bag which allows me to amend my soil and reuse the same soil after each harvest. It doesn't get any easier than using craft blend.

I had an amazing grow with lots of microbial life but unfortunately all of my ratios of NPK tested extremely low for the 6 Cubic feet kit. Thus, I had a vey low and poor yield. Great for vegging and cloning though because of the high potential for microbial life. Flavor was okay but nothing amazing.

Best on the market !!!! I am fully converting into grass roots living soil fabric pots as of the first of the year and I cannot wait I have been using build a soil products for the last year and a half and I'll never go back to using anything else last year's yield was my biggest to date these are some pictures of the grow I have now thanks to that coots soil mix 👌

Cowoco! Amazing! 2nd bag of this product and worms in almost every 1cu. Scoop. I couldn’t believe it, the 1st bag was even on a shelf in the grow room for 6 months and the worms looked lovely and lively every time I scooped some out. This second bag is being used bulk in a coots mix with biochar so not sure if it’s every scoop worm rich but there were certainly several worms in this bag when spreading them out! Stop looking already and buy COWOCO! The nug pictured is from a grease monkey clone, ran as a test and to fill space in the corner of a flowering tent. 5gal. Smart pot, cowoco used like super soil mixed in bottom third of pot with FFOF and rest topped off with FFOF with clone planted directly to FFOF, water only with a few teas, recharge mixed in. Veg. 1 month, flowered 12 weeks, 21grams total dry flower from this clone. I had one other 5gal. Pot with different super soil mix and yielded 17grams. Small scale test but yield definitely came from fatter buds on the cowoco grown plant as plant sizes were very much similar if not the same.

I think this is the best soul out right now it makes amazing yields in my grow. I won’t be changing products anytime soon
on BuildASoil Potting Soil Recipe 3.0 →David P.
This stuff has some kick. The light recipe is my go to for no-till, but this stuff will yield better on the first round than the light recipe, I just sometimes run into issues round 2 if I don’t get a soil test, which doesn’t usually happen with the light recipe. Still, there’s for sure a place for this stuff in my garden.
