I added kelp meal to my soil this winter prior to planting my spring seedlings and it has been wonderful for plant growth and fruit production. My yields have way surpassed last year’s yields and the kelp meal has been a big contributor to the improvements. Getting ready to purchase another food grade bucket for this fall’s planting.

Add it as part of a tea blend and the plants love it.

If you have a garden or any live plants, you need to keep a box of this on hand. If you notice any issues with your plants, the first step should be to feed them some kelp meal. The easiest way is to mix some of this kelp meal with enough water to hydrate it, about 1:2 kelp to water. Wait about 30 minutes, and blend it up really well, slowly adding enough water to make a smooth paste. This paste can be stored in the back of your fridge. Mix about a tablespoon per gallon of water, and use it to feed plants. This can be done every watering, or anytime you see a deficiency in your plant. You will be amazed at the results.

I use this a foliar spray in early stages to veg, then give my plant kelp tea during stretch and one more in the middle of flowering.

This is not the product to skimp on - not all kelp is equal. If there's one input you buy from only the best suppliers (like BAS) it's Kelp meal. You'll never second guess the sodium quantity or any other negative aspects that you have to worry about with inferior providers. So many uses for this as well - if you haven't tried the rehydrated kelp tea from Coot, I highly advise it!

I have been using in teas and my plants love it!

This is by far the easiest method for making tea. Just hydrate and puree the kelp once and then it's useable. Use once a week, 1 tbs per gallon. I alternate between compost tea, sprout tea and kelp with great results.

A quick pick me up for the plants while in Veg. And the recipe is on point. I double up the concentration and add alfalfa meal.

This product rocks! I threw this in as a top dress and my flowering girls responded with vigorous praying growth. I also mix it with alf alfa and worm castings.

Im tired of ordering dry semi unprocessed overpriced kelp trash!Here is the difference meal process is timing It must not be ground up before all beneficial factors are dried up.Enough of complaints Im super happy with my new go to guys!
