Certified Organic Straw Mulch Reviews

I prefer to first spray down dust , then use limb clippers to chop into 4-7 in pieces roughly allowing for best watering flow patterns. I do the same dry and chop of all my leaves and stems/small buds to accompany the texture of my mulch layer. Due to drying defol. and harvest matter u avoid having moist leaves redirected water flow and the oxygen soil levels.

Some pieces a lil too big but overall pretty effective. going to try the mushroom inoculated straw mulch next time.

Just started using this product and it keeps the top layer of soil moist.

Clean, top quality product in my opinion. I understand what it takes to get it from A to ME & I know you get what you pay for in life.... But I was a little disappointed when I pulled it out of the bag to see how much I had to work with. One bag won't be enough. I love build a soil products, it's hard to find any better organics. Just fill the bags of straw up a little more.lol 😂😁 I luv u guys Happy Growing 🌱🌿👍

Good product. I only took a star off for inconsistent moisture in the bag. First one was bone dry second dripping wet.

Not sure if it was popping up grass seeds but everything’s fine

Amazing product will purchase again only reason I gave it 4 stars is there wasnt any mushroom straw logs in stock 😆 otherwise happy customer is an understatement .

Prefer the moist blue oyster straw but this is excellent. Especially fine if it’s being thrown on a well-established bed.

I like this mulch. Straight to point. Nothing fancy .

I used this mulch for my container vegetable garden - one bag covered about a dozen containers ranging from 5 gallon to 10 gallon, as well as one large barrel planter. The straw has helped hold in moisture during hot sunny days in the mid 90s. However, most of the containers had a lot of barley seedlings. This was manageable for my small area, but could be cumbersome if you use more than one bag.

Good mulch for water retention and keeping weeds to a minimum, but definitely expect some grass to sprout from wherever you lay it.
