It's great but shipping cost was to much that's why I didn't give 5 star

5 star rice hulls, 4 star packaging. I got my 20lb bale of rice hulls in and after opening I had to get a container to transfer them to as the bag doesn't have a top to it. Hopefully I can source some locally to get around having to ship these.

I bought this as aeration, but found it to be a better mulch. It does work as aeration, but brakes down.

Packaging was simple, well labeled and no leaks or messes, expanded to a much larger amount with some fluffing. Should amend nearly 3-4 cu ft at 1/3 aeration. Haven't had a chance to use the soil I made with these, it's still cycling. I have however been following a few journals that include the rice hulls from you guys, and the results are at least as good as perlite. I only give a 4-star due to the fact that rice hulls naturally break down and aren't as convenient for those who are too lazy to re-amend their soil, but it does give a great indicator of WHEN you should maybe start reamending the soil.
