I have been using the urban worm bin for a few years now. I love them for the ease of use, cleanliness and the look. Last year, I purchased a second one to put inside (first one is outside) and it does even better. Works work faster inside and the population seems to stay more stable. Red wigglers don't love hot or cold temps so inside is ideal. That said I have never had any issues with cold, only heat from the bin being in full south facing sun, don't do that, shade is best. I also recommend picking up a few urban worm blankets, while not required, they keep the top of the bedding moist and dark, they love to breed just beneath them. They decompose over time in the bin and a new one can be added over top.

I waited to purchase a worm bin system until I saw Jeremy demo the UWB on an early video. I’ve been using it now for about a year and it works great. I have it in a basement room and it produces large amounts of high quality castings with no odor or pest problems whatsoever. It is easy to use with the very good included instructions. The unit is plenty sturdy even when loaded to the very top, which is where I build it up to just prior to harvesting each 20 gallon tub of finished castings. Highly recommended!

Consider buying two if you're really interested in making the most out of what you would have otherwise thrown away. My understanding is that with two of these, you can steer the castings you harvest for veg or for flower. That's what I'm going to do. Rally excellent quality bag, a lot bigger than you'd imagine with such a small box holding it all.

I absolutely love this thing. I also have on of the stacking bins which overall I am happy with but the flow thru system is going to make it much easier to use my casting for my indoor garden. The quality and overall build on this is top notch which shouldn’t be a surprise with it being sold here on BAS. If you got one get your avocado tech on.

This bag is huge. About 3x larger that you average store bought worm farm. Highly recommend using this. Make sure you don't forget to keep adding more bedding.
