Great light. Maybe order the 4500k bulb as well if you want to veg under it.

So I got this light as my first "professional" light... cost me a lot. I would recommend not buying this light as your first light. There are way cheaper options that can spread your dollar better. This is like an "apple" of lights. Fancy... trendy (cmh).... runs 4000 degrees Celsius. If you do not have good cooling I would not recommend this thing either. Other than that this light hooked it up, and I have my first crop. Great for a 4x4 grow... but I would look at higher wattage for tall grow rooms.

I put one of these in the smallest Lighthouse Hydro tent they sell, and I can confirm Jeremy’s results that we saw in his video blogs. I’m seeing exceptional vegetative growth indoors, with some leaves going 1,3,7,9,11 for example. I can easily keep the temps in the tent 5 degrees over ambient by adding a 120 mm case fan as an exhaust. On warmer days I fire up another case fan on the intake. A couple of times when the fans didn’t turn on, the Endomaxx safely turned itself off after it got too warm, maybe 85º - 90º F. Cons would be the 20 year old reflector design, the lack of a sealed glass cover that puts the bulb at risk of being sprayed, the non-discreet shipping, and the inclusion of a yellowish Sun Pulse bulb when the website specifications detail a 4 K Phillips. All in all, 5 stars because it works great and because the Sun Pulse bulb is better (it’s a dual coated bulb that lets out the UV rather than a dual glass jacket bulb).
