I’ve been using the mustard seed for about 2 1/2 to 3 years now both indoor and outdoor I haven’t gotten any unwanted bugs so I assume it’s doing its job and I’ll take anything that will help against unwanted pests.

I like the mustard seed meal; it's certainly very bioactive, which gets everything going. I did notice a little tip burn as the feeder roots dug into it, but nothing crazy. As for the fungus gnats, which is what I bought it for, I'm not sure it did much. More experimentation is needed. I hit a couple of plants heavy like this one and have still seen gnats. I'll play around a little more. No ill effects and the mustard made the soil super alive. Wish I saw better improvement with the gnats, but that could just be me dialing it in, or it only killing any new larva, which means improvement is coming shortly. All in all, I'd buy it again.

Love the product! Use caution-it is hot! Texture and moisture level are perfect. Packaging is excellent heavy bag with liner bag for long term storage.

Recently I had a bad infestation of Gnats, my grow is in 5 gallon fiber pots with living soil and the plants are in flower so I did not want to spray. I top feed a 1/2 cup of the mustard seed to each pot and within 12 hours the gnats are gone. Only time will tell if the gnats are gone but be aware the mustard smell is strong so it is advise to have a exhaust filter.

Used this between rounds. I applied a top dress and watered in. I used dr zymes and tweetmint as well. Then I let the pots dry out significantly. My gnats are gone for now. Smells intense. I recommend using a mask when working with this.
