Great product, does exactly what it says it does. Thin layer on top of soil in my potted houseplants completely eliminates fungus gnats within a few days. Super easy to use.

Really helps prevent outbreaks by creating a barrier. Will definitely be keeping a bag or two around.

I had an extreme issue this time around with fungus gnats in my 7 gallon SIP. I believe the issue stemmed from using a Fox Farm "organic" soil as my wicking layer. I mean these guys were in full effect! I got the Growstone Gnat Fix and added the recommended amount to my top layer and the gnats ARE GONE....The only issue is that by adding this to the top of my SIPs is that we couldnt do any more top dressing so I feel this has effected the plants production in the fruiting stage. I do recommend this product for sure.

I’m sold on this stuff and already got my local store to get me a second bag. There were almost no fines in the one I got from BAS. I think it’s worth mentioning that a significant amount of glass dust becomes aerosolized when pouring it out. Follow the manufacturers directions, and use a respirator and goggles that seal around your eyes, like the Dewalt safety goggles you find on Amazon or at HD. I never see any dust once it’s applied, though. I’m using 1-2” in every geo-pot. In the future, I’ll probably switch to Growstones, pumice, char, lava and rice, instead of the pumice perlite blend I was using before, in order to benefit from the increased TCEC and chitins. But that’s off topic. So 5 stars.
