The barley seed is supposed to be malted, it’s not, just regular barley seed. So false advertising for sure and not the same advantage I would assume but I do love sprouting my own seeds just wish the label was more honest cuz this is clearly sprouting barley not malted barley. 3 stars so I’m not a jerk

Seems weird and gets in the way . Doesn't seem like it'll break down

Used this product last year milled and this year got it unmilled. When I opened the bag right away I can tell not one seed had ever been sprouted in the bag. This was not a big deal to me besides a bit of time lost but I can sprout the seeds myself and it was 20$. What was confusing and disappointing was the support team. I got no help but an offer for 10% off which is nice but not if I'm confused on the integrity and quality put into the product. I decided to document it all as well but hoping for further clarity and support on the gnarly barley before posting this anywhere else. Thank you.

Seed sprouts from a malting house are done for peak enzyme activity!!! This means they are barely sprouted under very specific temperatures and hold periods. Then they are dried. After this is done the enzymes are peaked and ready. Hope that makes sense. Some seeds can even Re-Sprout after this depending on the variety. I promise they are all professionally sprouted and we pay a lot for this service. If there really is an issue we want to know about it right away and hold our suppliers accountable. Did you get to the bottom of this?
