First, the cost compared to the Q 20 is quite high, not sure it’s worth the extra money for a more potent product which goes into my next point.
The packaging. It’s in the typical packing you’d find 1-3 pounds of other amendments, about 6”x9”. Upon opening this bag you’re met with a cloud of this expensive powder that vanishes in the air. Due to how powdery it is, it sticks to all of the bag and gets stuck inside the ziplock, when you’re buying 2oz of this product, those factors make a dent. I’ve always used Yucca as an emulsifier but this just seems to be unsustainable longterm. I also can’t speak on its increased trichomes head size as I did not reach harvest yet.

Small package was granual, which i liked. This is like powdered sugar fine, super dusty when using.

I like the extract but I used it in my dryed out farm farm ocean forest and it was hydrophobic as fuck and it has had to even light sprinkled soil drenches and it is still turning hydrophobic and I even have state mulch on top of my soil as well as a white dutch clover cover crop

In my experience soap nuts worked a lot better and a fraction of the price.

I do not recommend this product I have tests proving it drops PH way more anyone would ever think. Ruined a batch of seedlings I grown for years and no issues until this. Test your PH after adding or throw in trash waste of money up to you to me it’s not worth adding into the water could kill microbes 🦠 how drastically it drops PH when added you must use 7.5ph then use Q sparingly as a PH down 😂
Yo! It's only 1/8tsp per gallon. Your test is like 10000 times overkill. Besides that, the buildasoil way does NOT include PH'ing your water. Hope that helps. This absolutely will not ruin any seedlings.

So the product does it's primary goal well in making the water "wetter" as they say. That's what got the 3 stars.
However, I picked this product up to help with a fungus gnat issue. BAS recommended using Dr zymes to get rid of them and the Q to keep them away. I did just that, 2 soil drenches of Dr zymes and have used the Q for each watering since, allowing for the soil to fully dry up before watering in 1 gallon to each 5 gallon pot, no runoff. So I don't believe I'm over watering anymore..
So while the product does act as a good wetting agent, I really haven't noticed any benefit in terms of IPM or plant health/vigor since adding it in. And in that regard, I'm definitely a bit disappointed.
It's also a bit of a pain to use because it's such a good wetting agent. The foam will overflow well before you can get 2 gallons into your sprayer. This is definitely a good problem, but still kinda frustrating to have to pause and wipe away foam over and over, making the watering process take much longer, for again...seemingly not much benefit or reason.
