No probe to go inside tent. Not sure if that was mentioned in the description or not. If it was then that’s my fault for not checking. To use have to open tent to check readings.

Very decent unit with no frills. I really like the size and mounting versatility because I can either hang it or allow it to rest on the hinging stand (picture frame style) depending on where I need it throughout the grow. No real setup either; insert batteries and carry on with the plan of the day.
