The tool to measure PAR/PPFD for my phone was needed to bring all the BAS products in flux. Since using their products I have not been steered wrong, seen some phenomenal results, seen some growth not thought possible and to top it off their customer service is far superior than any customer service i have ever dealt with. I was extremely off in where I thought my lights should be until I got this PAR Meter. It is incredible. My friend has a fancy expensive one and we got the same results almost identical. It is so worth the money and changed my grow indoors. As a 1st time indoor grower I think this is so important to have and actually a must!

Works exactly as advertised!! You have to spend an additional $6 in the app to unlock full spectrum LED, but compared to the next cheapest PAR meter available online, its a no-brainer!

I was using white paper over over my forward facing camera sith the Photone app—and it wasnt cutting it; was not the accuracy i needed. This thing has completely changed my growing!

This diffuser is a handy little tool. The app is too, but before, using paper over the camera gave a reading, whether accurate or not, it works good enough to compare from time to time. with the diffuser, I'm getting very different readings, and my lights are stronger than I thought. For the price, well worth it, better than investing in a PAR meter, and works well enough for a home grower for personal use, to give you an idea of how much light is getting to the plant at different spots.

Fits in pocket and not expensive. But will throw you off 100 but lower is always safer!

After soil, tent and a light, this might be the best $40 I’ve spent on grow equipment.

Item seems to work as advertised. All of my ppfd numbers are consistent and way more accurate than trying to use the app alone. I use the Photone app.

I ordered this about a month ago when my plants were in the second or third week of flower, because my grill light is a few years old now and I wanted to get an accurate reading on how much light my plants are getting. I saw this on one of Jeremy's videos + decided to give it a try and it works great! It gives you daily light index readings as well as par and lux reading. Thanks to this little gadget I realized that I need to turn my lights down or get some CO2 because I had it Way too close! No-Till For Life! Thanks again.

Great product. The app is also very easy to use. I never realized how little of light I was giving my plants.

If you are using a white piece of printing paper as a diffuser for Photon App you need this! I would imagine if you got lucky with the right thickness of paper you may get accurate readings but I sure wasn’t. I kept wondering why my plants were not able to handle more than 300 ppfd. Leaves would drop and no turger. Come to find out my ppfd levels were actually double with this diffuser! No wonder I was having so much trouble! Now my plants happy plant light levels make sense! So again, forget a peice of white paper! Get this!

I purchased this Diffuser to dial in my light readings and I'm glad I did. I had been using the old printer paper method and this Diffuser showed me just how inaccurate that was. Worth every penny.

It's not a huge deal that the app makes you pay $6 for the full-spectrum feature, but it is kind of BS if that's the most widely used part of the app in the first place. Sneaky, sneaky. If it were like $9.99 to unlock the entire app, I'd have nothing to complain about. (I'm a cheapskate, gimme a break.) That said, the defuser with the app works amazingly. It beats paying for an Apogee meter.

Works great! Attached it right to the front of the phone. You do have to disable the Par Meter sensor within the photone app for it to work. My plants are loving the additional light being given to them!

Compared this with Photon app to $500 plus chemistry gear and it’s very close

nice little diffuser, more consistent than just paper. worth the few bucks to get it and not mess with holding paper over your phone.

These diffusers are great. It has been a chore for me to make little paper diffusers and tape them to my phone. This little device solves the problem and eliminates all the hassle.

I had my light dimmed way too much . This seems to help . I don't have anything else to measure it by tho.

As a beginner this was one device that helped me tremendously with lighting. My plants stop burning or reaching. Through the stages I was able to adjust perfectly.

Good product, would buy again.

3rd party app needed for meter is free but you have to pay a monthly fee to get certain spectrums of light LED, HPS, ext. also been trying to get the app to recognize the diffuser for over 10 mins and I don’t think it’s working. Awesome deal in comparison to most PAR meters but not very intuitive setting up and having to pay a monthly fee not very impressed at all.
