This is very fine, so just take precaution for the airborne particles. This oyster shell flour is a great source of calcium, small amounts go a long way. Use to reamend your old soil or as a top feed during your grow.

BuildASoil had a hard to find product for us and big quantity for purchase. Customer service was excellent. They even volunteered a discount code to me that I greatly appreciated. We will definitely order again from BuildASoil.

Had to purchase this when I moved to full on Take and Bake version of soil building via Jeremy and BAS. I had used coco before but after learning about the realities of peat (namely Sphagnum Peat) I tried my hand at building my soil with it instead. Just needed this to help regulate the ph. I haven't had any ph issues so I guess I would say it's worked. However it's also just one of those things that you don't really know if it's working - unless you're willing to try mixing peat soil without it and see what happens. With this type of crop, we usually don't have that luxury of "let's just try it" so we follow the advice from others that did in the past. The best thing about the BuildASoil folks is that they use science and actual soil tests to back up their claims. So, if Jeremy says I need this when I'm building soil with peat, then I trust that I need it and ask no questions.

Will be using this soon, can't wait!

This Oyster Shell is the best one I've used so far. It was extremely useful in my Super Soil.

Throughout C19 it was basically impossible to find this product locally. With restaurants on the east coast shut down this bi product was not around for us! Thanks BAS!

My Mail Lady handed me this package in a bag bc it leaked powder all over everything and the bag had a giant hole in the bottom. Either from being jammed into too small a box or the goons at the USPS mishandled it, but the box isn’t beat up so I don’t know if this can be blamed on the USPS. Maybe put it in a bag.

I use oyster flour in an unusual way, as the final topping on a Bocce Ball Court, Italian bowling, which has a 9 ft by 60 ft (or any length you wish) flat surface enclosed by a wood or concrete border, with a soil base, topped with crushed oyster shells and finished with oyster powder.
