My grow is fully automated now with this addition.

This device connected easily, but initially would not work when pointed across the length of a DREO 6L clear humifiier tank. Changing the direction to pointing across the width of the tank solved that problem. This device worked well to keep my bedroom humidifier tank filled from a nearby reverse osmosis tank (connected under an adjacent bathroom sink) for several weeks until one day the normally blue laser light turned red and the sensor that was previously above the water line was now fully submerged. Fortunately the device shut off the water to the tank so there was no big flood mess to deal with. That was a smart design feature. The problem was that in the warm and moist environment of the humidifier tank, algae had quickly covered the sensor leaving it unable to detect the water level. I solved that problem by cleaning the sensor and adding an anti-algae/anti-bacteria tablet (available from CVS) that would protect the tank for 30 days. So, I am now very happy to have a low maintenance system that keeps my bedroom at a comfortable humidy level in a very low humidity part of the country, here in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Awesome add to my grow! It was getting annoying having to add water sometimes twice a day. Works great with no issues.

This is a must have if you tired of being tied, morning and night to the ritual of filling the humifider. Does a great job of keeping topped off. If you plan to use your own bucket, be sure to order the SKU: ATK201 kit which has a bulk head fitting. I made the mistake of ordering the wrong kit - hat's off to the BAS team for getting me the correct part overnight!
