Living Organic Soil - Malibu Compost Reviews

I now use the craft blend, buildaflower, buildabloom. All the BAS products have produced healthy plants for me so far. I am just about to flip to flower for the first time in the BAS products so I will update my review after the harvest. It has been a very successful run so far and would recommend BAS products to anyone who wants to just water only.

This has been the first bag of LOS I’ve used from Build A Soil and needless to say, it’s exceeded my expectations. Figured I’d test it out with a couple different late summer vegetable varieties, outdoors in fabric pots, to see how the plants responded before using the soil indoors. Highly impressed with plant responses to the nutrient availability of this soil! Can’t wait to try out some of the other soil recipes Build A Soil has to offer and utilize them in the grow room.

Out of using 3.0, Light and this one. The Malibu is my favorite! Extremely rapid growth and super healthy plants! Put some in a Earthbox and watch your plants take off!

Great soil so far . Planted last week . Soil ph was at 6.5 when we filled pots . Soil feels great in your hands and does not compact like other soils giving the plants a great great oxygen rich environment! Plants thriving with no additional additives . Plants were started from seed 8 days ago

Its a bag of dirt, and to be fair, I havent used it yet, but so far, 5 out of 5 star experience. Fast shipping, product exactly as expected, seems like good quality dirt. What more do ya want?

I have transplanted my seedlings into this soil and right away I could tell it was high-quality! I am very excited to see how my garden reacts to this nutrient-rich medium, and I even bought the “top-dress” package as well and it all looks to have a really good base to add any other organic nutrients you may need! This was a great purchase!

If you're new to living soil like me and grow in a small space, this is perfect. Transitioning from a synthetic mindset to an LOS mindset is a wonderful experience. Soil came perfectly moisturized and after I laid it into its tote bed, planted seed and watered, it came alive! Did an initial top dress of only Bokashi and straw. 3 days later I have fungal hyphae and Stratiolaelaps! Looking forward to my future of Living Organic Soil growing.

Arrived in a one ton super sack on top of a pallet. Been taking up half my garage since I received it lol. Some of the best soil I've ever bought, hands down. The idea of being able to reuse this soil for years to come with minimal amendments and top dressings really makes it worth the price. I even paid over $200 in shipping and it was still 100% worth it!

I switched from using soil that required bottled nutrients and I'm alot happier. I give the plants filtered water and top dress the plants and everything works great. The plants show signs of nutrient deficiencies if they have been in small pots(1/2gal or 1gal) too long but as soon as they are transplanted they start doing better so I will be switching to larger pots or garden beds. I had fungas nats like crazy but got some Nematodes and after 2 weeks I only see 1 ot 2 every so often and use sticky traps.

This stuff works better than the Oly mountain. The seeds germinate faster. The Oly still works better than the third type

Girls are growing strong and healthy. Top dress with worm castings and you're set. Customer service and products are top notch.

This is very rich and high quality soil. I mix it with jther amanednenta depending on the edible variety. Shopping for our larger order went very smoothly and the customer service was exceptional.

Review of living soil with malibu compost Texture and color is beautiful. You can see each different ammendment, the dirt is clean. Haven't seen any signs of gnats or bugs of any sort after 3 waterings. Takes a very long time to drain, longer than I wanted but it is totally to be expected when growing in peat moss. One soil was wet it drained much quicker. Plants responded well on day one. No signs of stress what so ever. Previous nitrogen overdose was corrected after 2 days in build a soil. All in all, I am pleased. Will post a further review in 90 days after a flower cycle
