Works very well after sanding off the ridges of plastic left behind at the injection molding spots (4) on the lid, and the corresponding 4 spots on the rim piece. Once this is done, the lid is truly air and water tight.

I ordered three of the green gamma seal bucket lids and three of the heavy duty buckets as suggested by BAS. The problem is the bucket is slightly too big for the lid ring. I’ve tried a heat gun to try and get the last bit in but it’s not enough. When I finally got the lid almost on I checked and the gamma seal ring that you put on first completely spilt. I assume on the right size bucket they’d work great. However they didn’t fit the heavy duty grey buckets that BAS sells
Crazy we use them all the time. I stand above and push on both sides with straight arms using my body weight. They are a pain, but we want them tight. Did you create a support ticket? I'd like to help! Do you think the heat gun messed with it? Either way let us know.

The seal was great a little hard to snap the bottom half on , and threading the lid on wasn't the smoothest . But overall good product and worth the money I would recommend this product to others
