Great product, I topped dressed this over my cover crop and added some gnarley barley and I got an explosion of life in my 4x8 bed

My batch was pretty much like shape like the black market drug dealers nick bags we used to get from the late 90’s. Haven’t seen any mycelium yet either. I give it 4 stars only because it’s from buildasoil

It’s really easy to get this stuff all over the place, but it did well in my grow. Kept my worms at bay and cover crops were still able to push through. I will most likely take straw in the future with the mushrooms in Flower.

I was using barley straw but this stuff is easier and less messy.

Let’s just say it’s a must if you want to do it right

I added 1-2 inches on top of the soil and the plants are very happy and healthy. It has been on for over a week and I am very happy with the quality and results. I mist the mulch as often as I can in the mornings and the plants have responded well. Will buy again when needed.

Use this and barley straw, works well

Just getting these beds started. I really like using a mix of the hardwood mulch and barley straw with a light cover crop. About to throw on the straw and sprinkle some grokashi and ricehulls...

The product is good the only Problem is that I found plastic debris in it.

Excellent product. I placed the wood/bark on top of the Barley Straw Mulch (I also purchased from buildasoil) and mulched my patio and raised planters.

great for mixing with soil and lining the bottom of large pots/fabric beds or even replacing barley as mulch

I added this today and it was full of mycelium. I love that it is composted. I also noticed some H. Miles mites running around my brand new pots despite me not having added them yet. They could have been in the soil, but I hadn't noticed them until I added the mulch over a week after filling the pots with soil. Awesome either way and always remember...mulch, mulch, mulch everything.

This mulch is great on top of a thin layer of barley straw. I ended up tossing all the tiny pieces of mulch and dust I had at the bottom of the bag into my compost bin and had tons of Mycelium after 24 hours

I found this mulch to be of high quality and function well. I prefer it over straw and heavy top cover. I brew bacterial dominated teas and find this mulch to keep my fungi levels consistent throughout a grow.

Lovely stuff! Pre digested and full of fungi. Much better than the store bought crap that's been treated with God knows what. I love it!!

Nice wood mulch, since it's Composted it doesn't steal much nitrogen from soil, excellent choice!

This type of mulch is easily removed for topdressing and a snap to replace back onto the surface of each container.

This composted bark mulch is very full of life. Lots of fungi all over it. Much more than I thought from looking at pictures. I am very happy with my purchase. It did not go quite as far as I hoped, so I am ordering more before B.A.S. runs out of this batch. Awesome stuff and yes it works great as a mulch.

Just laid some down on day of transplant, and it retains a tremendous amount of moisture to the top layer of soil. 2 days after a small tea feed, mycelium started growing all over the wood chips. You better get some before it's gone, I'm going back for more for future gardening cause it's loaded with life and does the job better than I imagined. Great product!
