There is no way this pump’s actual output is what they listed. Not enough airflow for the bubble snake to work properly. Upgraded to a linear pump with double the output and half the noise.

Good strong pump and not overly loud

This looks like an excellent pump I can hardly wait until I can make a tea.I would recommend this product it looks like a heavy duty pump. I am glad to have it.

Ok this pump is insane how much noise it makes! It's like it's possessed I couldn't I couldn't leave it in my room I had to put it it outside in my shop and it bubbled a bunch of fish all over the floor in my shop !!! I got up this morning and went out and look I think its insane! It's way to powerful for a 5 gallon container it should be done in a 20 gallon garbage can that is how I'm going to be using it in the future! Yes it works great and I will be using it outside from now on! Geezz about 1 1/2 gallons of fishy smelling compost tea went all over my art studio! Wish I knew how crazy it was before I used it! Other than that I love it! I think it might be be able to compost more than 5 gallons at a time!! Ok love you guys thanks for listening to my rant ✌

Great pump for compost teas. Quiet pump, doesn’t vibrate much at all. It really puts out a lot of air, I use mine in a 50 gallon brewer with great results.

The air pump is probably stronger than I need for a 15 gallon ACT, I5 IS PERFORMING ADMIRALLY, but I wonder can act have too much oxygen, is there an increased benefit with extra oxygen?

Have the bubble snake and a microbulator and this pump works great with both. A little noisy for indoor running but overall a good pump.

Works great. A little loud depending on the surface it's sitting on but with a sandbag beneath it, almost silent. It's still brand new so will see how it goes long term. Great service. BuildASoil got it to me fast!

I ordered a air pump and one cubic foot of worm castings on a weekend. Got the air pump that weekend and the castings the next weekend. Didn't know what to expect with the castings, but I am 100% satisfied. No mudballs, no powder, easy to scoop. 1 1/2 cups to 4 gallons water and after brew, less than 1/4 cup of solids leftover. The pump gets a little hot but works great. Thanks to Buildasoil and Tim Wilson.

I do not recommend this pump. I have roommates so I can't even use it due to the volume, really disappointing. It also gets so hot I can't hold it. Its not returnable either.

This simple piston pump is very efficient, I had considered a diaphragm pump but I am glad I chose this one as it runs quietly!

this pump will handle any res, tea brewer, or multiple dwc's. I've got it running three fifty gallon rain barrels for compost tea. Hands down the best beast of a pump.

i finally have enough air flow to use my five gallon brew bucket! i've been brewing my compost teas in a two and a half gallon bucket for some years now, aerating with two aquarium pumps and getting valuable but mediocre results; not ideal, but it got the job done i suppose. with this pump and a five gallon bucket, my AACT's are downright furious. the plants respond mightily, with thick, healthy foliage and growth spurts that endure for several days after application. noise levels are a matter of interpretation, and some folks may find this pump to be "loud" if they haven't much experience with heavier-duty pumps like this one, but in my opinion the noise level is much quieter than i expected. it's actually far less noisy than my 8 year old four-valve aquarium pump that rattles and buzzes constantly. knowing that i have the tools to make truly exceptional teas motivates me to do so more often, which greatly benefits my plants, my cycling soil mixes, raised beds.. everything. if you're on a budget as i am, i strongly encourage you to keep this guy near the top of your priority list. you'll be happy you did.

the vortex tea brewer I made was awesome. Great air pump! Make sure you get a hose clamp.

Works great! Super powerful! Just make sure to use all the ports or block them on the splitter or else it won't function properly.
