I spent $120 on 3 fans and every single one broke! They stopped oscillating & the fan stopped spinning. If I balance them right they will partially work when not in oscillating mode.
I have opened one fan and partially modified the bottom gear to allow it to kind of work at almost full power, but its really a Huge flaw in the design.
(They didn't even last 1 grow cycle)
Last time I posted this review BAS took it down & I'm not sure why. I have proof of purchase & do not want a refund, all i ask is other people looking to buy this product know what their in for.
All this being said these fans are some of the strongest I've used at this size, definitely stronger than the 6in Hurricane fans. And I after some modifying I will hopefully be able to use them in my garden.

Fan works as expected. My only issue was it squeaked the first week, quiet now though.

Plugged them in, air dispersement is fab, size is great, but after about 30 seconds, the tautness on the interior cord squeals like crazy every time it turns to the right. Bought 2 fans, both did the same. :(

Solid fan, very versatile, and worth every penny!!

Great fan, has 3 different clip sizes that are easily changed!

I had to give the fan extra support to make sure it stayed where I wanted it. I put zip ties as a stop on the pole because it wants to slide down otherwise. It slid down first and got bound up trying to oscillate. The motor overheated and I thought it was gone. It eventually came back on but it’s noisy now and I’m not confident it’ll last long. If the clip would’ve held and avoided the little accident, I would’ve rated a 3 or 4. Decent little oscillator

Air moving strong around my tent

Amazing fan, best I've found for this size.
That being said it is very skweeky and annoying, i bought a new one to replace the skweeky one and after a few days it started to skweek to.

Bought two fans for the oscillating feature. Both stopped oscillating within a few days. Fans still function on stationary mode

I have been using this new monkey fan for the last few weeks and have 0 complaints. It works really well and I highly recommend it!

These monkey fans are great. Comes with the hardware to hang on most pole sizes. 2 speed settings. There's two reasons I didn't give them 5 stars, 2 of 6 I've used had a squeak as it osciliated, but lube fixed it easy.

Haven't had an issue with this fan, I've heard of other brands giving consumers issues but I would recommend this brand.

Setup and attaching to the tent pole was very easy and has a very secure grip. Unfortunately, the Low setting will not stay on; it only works on High, whether or not it's oscillating. The fan is loud on both settings.

Great grip strength on clip and just a good quality product.

Great fan for my 4x4 tent, but I had trouble mounting it. I ended up putting in a PVC pipe, and tied it off to that.

This little fan does exactly what it's supposed to: it moves the air very well, is easy to position and takes up minimal space. It's well worth the price and the service from Build-A-Soil (as always) is super!

Great fan, but wish it had a higher speed. Other than that no complaints BAS is a great company.

works good, and gets the job done!

It’s a quiet and decently balanced Sunleaves fan. Clamped to a wire rack, it’s been holding its position where I want it for a month. It’s a good option for moving air over the canopy within a couple of meters, while only using about 20 watts.

This fan works great. The clip is strong and grips almost anywhere. The Build-A-Soil guys are awesome. Delivery was quick and they are always around to answer questions. Fantastic company
