Haven’t needed to use it yet, but shipping was prompt and appears to be built well.

Thank goodness I saw that review that said not to buy because it’s cheaper elsewhere because I found the exact same one in black or purple brand new for $96.99 on Amazon w free 2 day shipping! Huge buildasoil fan here and love that they always try to be economical and how they maintain transparency and provide recommendations for other companies products if they work. But l can’t figure out why they would take a humidifier on Amazon and call it a buildasoil humidifier and tell people it’s the one rather than just recommending the company that sells them and help us to save money instead of trying to take more of our money without adding any value , just seems like a cash grab and not something Jeremy would do but I still love all the soils and amendments! 5 stars because there’s nothing wrong with the device and I don’t wanna mess up the rating

Longest lasting humidifier so far - top fill is real nice too

It works well. Used it in my drying tent. Like any other humidifier, it struggles to maintain a consistent level despite the built in humistat. Did well though, and the top fill is awesome.

I would give this 5 stars except that I can't plug it into my humidifier controller, as it completely turns off and doesn't come back on when using a separate humidity control. If you live in a very low humidity climate, you may want something with a larger reservoir.

Better than what I can get elswhere

It’s almost as if this humidifier were built to my exact specifications and needs. I have it located in the center of my 5x5 tent and it keeps the humidity right where it needs to be. I love the extra height you get with the extended nozzle and the ability you have to reposition the 2-directional head. It’s seriously great. It is on the pricier side, so I was happy to be able to get it on sale. I think this humidifier works perfectly fine for any tent I’d say 6x6 or less. It might be too much for a 2x2, but I think 4x4 or 5x5 is the real sweet spot.

This humidifier kicks ass. Keeps the tent Dailey in humidity wise. Buying a second for my other tent very soon.

First off, I love this humidifier. I only have a few issues with it, being: 1. After tank empty’s and device shuts off, you have to input all the settings again. 2. Because I have it in a tent with an intake/exhaust fan, there’s too much airflow for the device to properly read the humidity. While multiple hygrometers show above 50-55% the device shows 37-45%. While it’s not a major concern, when the lights turn off the tent does reach 75% while the device shows lower. 3. There’s no way to completely turn off the display while leaving the device on. There will always be an amber ish light being put off even with the display turned all the way off. 4. When adjusting most settings the lights around the rh level go up. But between the last light setting and the “turbo” option there’s one that doesn’t show any change. While the device does increase the rh faster and maintain it more efficient, it does have its drawbacks that other humidifiers didn’t have. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk

This is by far the best humidifier I’ve ever used. Like the setting of humidity you want , top fill , no more removing reservoir to fill. Buy one you won’t regret it.

Much easier to use out of the box than evaporative style humidifiers. Plants are mighty happy.

I like the footprint and the feature set. Seems well built. Frustrated the mfr is out of filters. I guess i will be buying clean water for a while.

I like that i dont gotta fill it up as often

Great humidifier. I went from a cheap $20 Walmart humidifier that wouldn't stop growing mold to this one and it's been great with the maintenance so far.

Work really well, I love being able to fill it from the top, My propagation room is approx. 10x12 and not properly sealed, hovers around 20-30% humidity at most, with the humidifier I can keep my seedlings and vegging plants at 60%, I imagine much higher once properly sealed. Excellent humidifier. Love the extension to put the mist up higher. Will be buying another one for second tent as funds allow.

Not sure if it’s my ducting system or the fact that I live in Arizona but my humidifier is struggling to get my tent to 40%RH while it’s supposedly set to 60%RH and the poor humidifier is running on max . Which is quite sad considering the price of this smart humidifier. I expected much more.

I did a ton of research before buying this humidifier and im pretty sure it's the best option other than going commercial from the large h20 tank to the built in humidistat it just kicks ass all around especially for the price 💪this super dry air had me chasing my tail THNX BAS🙏💚✌

Great Humidifier. Top pour is nice. Easy to program. Can set at a certain humidity and forget about it. Another great feature is you can turn light off while it is running.

I thought my tap water with a low ppm of 55 would work in this humidifier given that it features some filtration but to my disappointment this unit spreads a film of white dust everywhere with tap water. I would only recommend distilled or R.O. water through these units, if you run an RO filter and don't mind the water usage it won't bother you. The unit is unacceptable with tap water especially if using around flowering plants or drying product. I am now looking for an evaporative cooling humidifier as I have read that those do not have issues with spreading white dust and film but perhaps I should be running RO water regardless of the unit? Either way if the evaporative cooling units run cleaner and less misty with no chance of any sort of film/dust production I will take that over this.

Love the product. Have used a number of other brands that lacked the hygrostat. This one is perfect in size, top fill is great and the quality is better than any other unit ive used. 6 months and zero issues. Im back to buy a second unit and cost is up 19%. Other than price this is a 5 star unit!

Best humidifier Now with that said, I’m using it in the bloom lab and I’ve covered the front screen with cardboard and tape. Even in off mode theres a little yellow/orange led on We need someone like ac infinity to make humidifiers, heaters, power strips, grow hubs, etc with NO dang LEDs! Danger lurks around every corner when adding anything that plugs in, into your bloom lab and this is no different unfortunately

I had been fighting low tent humidity here in Colorado until I purchased this Build a Soil humidifier, now I have proper VPD!

Overall the unit works well, however, it would be nice if it could be controlled by the Niwa. If manual control is your thing, then this unit is great. If you want to automate as much as possible, this would not be the unit for you.

I love how this thing has top fill. I also appreciate the multiple output settings that you can really see the difference in output.

This thing is one of the best investments I've made so far. Set it and forget it. Does everything it claims and does it damn well!

Top quality product, very good for harvest and grow

Added to the tent and it keeps steady. Only thing is it registers humidity level at bottom. So I had to adjust lower. Example I wanted 60%. I had to put the humidifier on 50-55% to achieve correct humidity at my higher sensor. Not a big deal at all just needed to adjust accodingly

Working in a fairly hot low humidity environment. This bad boy blows out a nice cool stream of vapor. This completely straightened out my low humidity problem. I can change the amount in my 3x3 tent at will. Also has lowered the temperature by several degrees. On a different note my grandson got a respiratory illness just days after receiving this product. We have been running it wide open for the last 2 days and it is amazing. The “mater plants” will just have to wait a few more days. 5 stars!

Love this humidifier, the top feed feature makes this worth every penny. Easy to use and you never have to move the unit to refill.

I replaced two smaller humidifiers with this one. Many more practical features, I can extend the mister up to the canopy top, refill from the top w/o turning off the unit, and even split the mister to spread mist further. My only less than great remark would be that the humidistat is fixed the base of the unit, I prefer to get a more accurate reading in the center of the tent or at the top of the canopy, otherwise it's awesome

Awesome humidifier for a home grow. The reservoir lasts a good while in my space, accessory attachment allows you to modify the height of the vapor dispersal and the swiveling dual spout gives the option to split or focus the direction of the vapor diffusion. Also, the vapor comes out very fine with no spatter or noise. It is very quiet and the reservoir is easy to remove and replace. Some points where I’ve had to improvise: the digital display is kinda bright so it will need to be covered during dark hours. The reservoir can be a little bit unwieldy when refilling it so I’ve resolved to bringing the water to the humidifier, rather than carrying the reservoir to and from the spigot. Also, the available settings for automatic RH are programmed in increments of 5%, which in a small tent can be a little drastic at times- not a big deal if you’re running a good environment but something to be noted. All in all, none of these things are insurmountable issues given the general quality of the unit. Definitely recommend!

I was having a hard time keeping my humidity up I was using two humidifiers just to get it to 70% . Don’t have that problem anymore. The extra large capacity tank makes it one less thing to worry about.

This humidifier is perfect for a 5’x5’ tent. Growing mushrooms, I’ve gone through many humidifiers, this is the only non commercial humidifier I’ve found that has the power to go 24/7. 10/10

Works great abd I love that you can split the most to spray two directions and the extension gets you above the canopy!

The ability to top load this humidifier is what makes this humidifier stand out from the standard air innovations that is sold through the website you cant go wrong with having that kinda of control just opening up your tent lifting a little door and filling with water and knowing you have 100hours of runtime
