Beneficial Insect Combo Packs (Small) Reviews

I won't deny the benefits that fungus gnats, soil mites, and springtails can have on an ecosystem, but you don't want to let them go unchecked. These help by sustaining themselves off of their populations while also going for the other pests that you don't want in the garden at all, such as thrips, grubs, etc. It's hard to tell, but I believe I still have the populations that I bought from prior years set up in my garden.

These are the only thing that eliminated Hemp Russet Mites from my garden. I released 100 and went in a few days later and there were thousands running around!

This is the 2nd time I've bought these little beneficial buggy friends. They have made a huge difference and very nice dent in the once living pest population. Pesttown population : 0. Buggyville: 585969 population. Definitely buy beneficial insects. It will save you time, headaches, and money in the long run.

They arrived fast. I am in Mesa, Arizona and they arrived from Wednesday evening to Friday before 11am. Packing was packed like a baby cradle and cool like a breeze. Rove beetles are very active. I'm waiting a couple hours to water in the nematodes. Life is good.

So I had a bad infestation of fungus Nats that were killing my two mother plants. I released the rove beatles and they went to work right away on the adults. I then added the nematodes to my watering can and got them into the soil. After about a week there where no more adult Nats. Another week and both plants are showing signs of recovery. Three weeks in and the plants are looking strong again, the rove beatles and nematodes are still going strong. Just for clarity I used half of the small pack in my 2x2 mother tent, this is where the my problem was, the other half in my 2.5x5 flower tent as preventative.

I'll say the shipping sucked. Shipping is included in the price, so if you pay for overnight shipping and get it 2-3 days after it shipped. You will not get anything from anyone to compensate you for your loss. Even though it says ships overnight and shipping included in price. I paid for it in the price of the product and didn't get over night shipping! I couldn't see the mites but the rove beetles were alive.

First, maybe you’ve found yourself looking for different solutions for problems in your garden- aphids, armyworms, etc. You weren’t thrilled about constantly spraying and decided to take this as your next step.

Fungus gnats are gone, I also introduced the beneficial insects to all of my soil beds even the ones with only cover crop growing in them. No gnats, no larvae. Problem eradicated in less then a week. And now they have a new home as they still patrol my containers. Great investment

I do think that it works well and it’s beneficial for my garden. I only gave it four stars because of the higher price it costs. Shipping was almost immediate. I got it first and a two days after ordering.

Very fast shipping and arrived alive and healthy. These worked great, had a bad gnat infestation put the small pack of these along with hypo mites and about a week later numbers decreased and a few days after that gnats are gone with an abundance of rove beetles. I love these little guys whenever I see them it makes me happy knowing my plants will be well defended.

So this will be the ultimate review because I have had these things for about 2 years now. Started out being tired of the gnats. Really never had a “quote” problem with anything else. I have now had my same soil for about 6 years. Two 99gal. 20”x5ft roughly. Sometimes I will move new compost in or other soil attached to transplants. Gnats will then occur occasionally. Doesn't take long for them lil beneficials to work. They are a true part of my soil. No more gnat problems. Thanks little guys

Arrived the very next day! Inoculation is easy as well. No complaints whatsoever so far, but will have to see what happens throughout the season. Overall I’m a very satisfied customer. Thanks BAS! You guys rock!

This is my first living soil grow and I definitely have learned a few lessons. One of those lessons is how to overwater and how to fix it. I waited too long to order these. I was hoping the beneficial population I had cultivated myself via a very active work bin would do the trick but they needed some help. Got these in the mail QUICK!!! They were packaged very well and were still cool from the insulation and ice packs. I applied the trio of bugs to both of my 3x3 beds evenly. Now the once prevalent population of fungus gnats is not existent!! Thank you BAS!!!

After adding to my worm bin, I can see the mites swarm on a piece of carrot no doubt contributing to breaking down faster.

Been having trouble with some invisible leaf suckers. Ordered Beneficial Insect Combo Packs (Small). Shipped to Southern Cali super fast within a few days. Used on 7 good sized plants right before they were flipped into flower. 2 weeks later all signs of undesirable bugs are gone. 10/10 would use again.

Came well packed and arrived healthy even in 90 degree July heat. Not really sure how you rate insects worth but they seem to do their job and it makes me feel better that they’re in my soil.

Had an infestation on white flys tried 7 different “recommended” sprays nothing works used this once they are 95 percent gone ordering a second batch as per there recommendations they will be completely gone

These lil guys came active & ready to go! Applied along with a top dress & they found their homes fast. Quick & easy - no brainer application atleast once a year

I should’ve gotten a larger batch but they are a really good addition to the garden because it really is no fun when you have Pest issues throughout your grow.

Without these in your soil you are going to expect to find fungus gnats and other unwanted insects After first applying the rove beetles its best to apply them before the problem is every a problem they will establish a colony amongst the soil wiping out anything in its path The nematodes help work with the rove beetles at first to destroy any larvae in the soil

Arrived overnight air, bugs were alive and well. They're still alive, I didn't use them all. The gnats are gone.

Man At first I wasn’t sure I couldn’t really tell how many were in the pack but after a few days of being in the beds.!!!!Man those things come alive my beds are crawling with life now

I used these in combination with Mammouth Canncontrol as my IPM in a 4x4 Grassroots bed. So far so good!
