Bugs were packaged and shipped exceptionally well. They arrived very much alive and vigorous. I have used Rove Beetles in the past with good success, from other vendors. These ones seem to be getting going a little slower than my previous experience. I did water a little heavy shortly after, like 12 hours. So it could be my fault.

An once of prevention is worth a pound of cure, I was seeing a few more gnats and was finding thrips too, this crew will take care of anything dwelling in the soil and they get to work really quick. I am still spraying the leaves for adult thrips but I don’t see them anymore just the leaf damage remains.
My bugs arrived alive and hungry

No activity in the mites bags … the rove beetles are active but no predatory mites

UPS Never fails to disappoint. Be sure to have them FedEx the package. Gnats are beyond gone even with the nematodes in the warm package that should’ve arrived 48hrs sooner.

Showed up with icepack melted and none of the rover beetles survived. I ended up going with another company for insects and was blown away by the quality of the new company I used. I will no longer be ordering insects from bas.

I order it previously and received a clear package of rove beetles and another clear package of steinerma. This time I received a small white bag with powder that had nematodes in them. Completely different then what I wanted.

I split a medium size combo pack between a 4x and 5x tent at the start of every cycle. No gnats, thrips or aphids, they become an after though because as a preventative measure this does the trick. (IPM weekly in addition) I have yet to receive any expired bugs, always alive and full to the rim!

I had a slight issue with gnats in my grow room. Bought these a week ago and I've seen a major decrease in gnats.

Very effective....reduced my gnat population 90% percent I would say.

I have had no success in the fight against fungus gnats using beneficial insects.

I've had to change up some of my practices to accommodate these guys, but I've slowly learned to build up a persistent resident population. I have been plagued by fungus gnats ever since going to organic production, but it's very quiet in the gardens right now. You should see a difference within a week.
The Green Lacewing eggs do a great job of controlling Thrips in the canopy. These three beneficial predators have been keeping my indoor grow in good shape. I used to panic when I would see a pest - not so much anymore!

i hate fungus gnats. I want to destroy them all. So like any good futuristic war movie warlord i decided to unleash my tunnel rat T1000 rove beetles on seek and and destroy, go get sarah connor type missions on the entire gnat population. Sure, gnats can fly, i get it. But guess what, they have to land sometime, they get hungry, thirsty, come down to the Serengeti water hole and ive got 500 T1000 rove beetle crocodiles waiting for their lunch.
if you hate gnats. or bugs . or just enjoy having your own personal army. buy rove beetles.
