Love it love it love it. Love this and Ive been running the same earth boxes and 10 gals from my original 40 lb mix almost 2 years ago. The 10 gals get mixed back together for some craft blend/buildadlower/wormcasting amending but the esrthboxes have remained untouched and get their own dose of the same above mentioned ammending. Only order more to expand a bit and use some bigger containers!

Super easy formula. I just add a little craft blend in between harvests and some buildaflower right before bloom. Been running the same soil for 6 cycles now. Only buying more to expand

I just wanted to commend BAS for just offering quality products even if it might not farm frequent repeat customers. I'm sure most of us will come back for our various needs but rather than sell us symptom treatments and snake oils for a huge cost they sell the cure cheap. Onto the product, this has quality ingredients and you can really tell it will add the missing components to a mostly organic material base and add those vital minerals. It isn't really fertilizer but I thought you guys might get a kick out of this. I had a little bit of this left over on a batch and decided to spread the extra over a new native grass and wildflower seeding project in my yard. Just a tiny strip. I heavily amended and top dresses my baren starting clay with compost and peat moss (plus some fertilizers) but I had noticed a lack of vigor and what seemed like some nutrients robbing last year. Well on the strip I spread this, and that section shot up to be way more dense and green compared to the other sections. I'm unsure exactly what causes it but I found it interesting. I will say, I believe with autos at least that less is more with this recipe. I let my batch age a little with just worms and cover crop and it definitely was a little too strong for those autos but very odd, no lockout or much burn just a bit of stunting. Funny enough, this finicky native grass I like to use as cover crop loved it though ... So I decided I have to remineralize my whole yard now.

I recently switched over to the 3.0 DIY. my plants this run have grown way faster and looked way healthier transplanting a couple plants into it also, reinvigorated them and brought them back from some yellowing. (Fabric pots and earth boxes)

I do like the product. My only issue is that when I received my package, the postman mentioned there was sand coming out of box. They placed the box in a plastic bag for me so I won't lose as much material. It turns out that the sand is actually the soil builder I purchased. I'm not sure how much was lost on the way. My suggestion is for you guys to double pack and/or tape package so I can prevent this from happening to other customers. I have picture. Just a mess. Aloha!

Received my order, but 1 of the bags was busted open and over half of the contents was missing from the bag. There was some of it in the bottom of the box but most of it was lost during shipment.

Put this to use and the plants had almost no bounce back time. Can always rely on BAS

The youtube videos are So effective!! I follow Jeremy's instructions. I'm crushing it!!!! Big pots. The automated water system is a game changer. Blu mats are unbelievable! No way I could hand water and get these results with my schedule. Thanks BAS.

Switching from hydro to BAS was the best thing I did. The products are great, as well as the customer service. Had an issue with an order and Dave was great at resolving it. Recommend this brand to anyone looking to try organic living soil.

Reamended a bunch of old soil with this. Built it into five 15 gallons. Planted some good clones… blumats, buckwheat cover crop, good environment, water only except for the rootwise. Run absolutely crushed. Pics speak for themselves. This is all I’m gonna use for reamending.

Love it. Used in coast of Maine growers mix great results and it’s simple easy and easy on the wallet. I wish my local hydro store was a build a soil dealer. Shipping isn’t cheap

I highly recommend. I transplanted clones into the soil I made with the 3.0 bought from bild a soil, and have been watering with straight ph adjusted water for 6 weeks in 3 gal pots and they are doing amazing. Not a single deficiency, or toxicity. I'm in week 3 of flower and the growth is great. I typically use 7gal pots, but quantity of clones determined pot size this time. I have bought several products from build a soil and have had great results every time. I really enjoy the honesty and transparency in the videos which helps me become a better grower. Price might be a little higher than what some may be comfortable with, but when you factor in not using bottle nutrients, not having to buy bags of soil anymore, it actually works out cheaper. I am on a farm and can make about 2cyd of my own compost a year which helps offset cost.

Bought this to throw in with a bag of decent garden soil plus some extra hulls, moss and some buildaflower I had lying around. Used some gravel from the driveway after rinsing it with the hose as I didn’t have any volcanic rock or perlite. Totally happy with the results and I ended up with enough medium for 4 x 10 gallon containers. Totally happy with the results as they’re entering mid bloom

Simple to follow recipe. This was my second time using the 3.0 diy kit. Expanded the garden and had to have some more of this stuff. Been growing for a decade and wish I had this stuff from the start. Seems to really bring out the full potential of whatever it touches 👍

Easy way to build the same 3.0 and you can add/modify some of the other inputs

I bought the 40lb kit. I purchased the peat moss , pumice, and compost locally. I did not use rice hulls as i didnt know where to source locally so i just bought 4 cubic ft. bags of pumice. Btw if your having trouble finding local pumice try looking up Uni-gro pumice. Only one i could find and fairly cheap. Peat moss i got from lowes, compressed bale. So i have 6 container plants outdoors right now, 3 with 3.0 and 3 with the 3.0 building kit soil. I genuinely cant tell the difference. They are all growing great right now and i thought this late in the season i would be able to tell the difference but i cant. I didnt mark which had which, but it will be easy to tell by pumice size alone. Great way to save money, just takes a bit of research for locally sourcing and some labor and youre all set.

First grow( out of 5 😂) that I have not had any deficiency. That is because of the 3.0 mix. And other Build a soil ingredients. I even have the Jeremy issue. ( my plant are close to hit the lights)

Have not used yet. Want to reammend my 3.0 soil and see how it goes. Will update when the run after next is complete.

These kits are great. Create your base (compost, aeration, peat) and then add this kit and there's your 3.0 ready to go.

Easy to mix. Seedlings DOUBLED in size within 48 hours!! I’m amazed. Really amazed.

Always great quality with BuildASoil. First time using the 3.0 kit and so far I love it. I ran the same batch of coots mix for over 2 1/2 years and it did well up until recently, I believe I probably let it go at some point between grows. The growth with the 3.0 kit seems to be excellent. They have not shown any signs of needing much so far. I'm running a few autos in it as well and they seem to be handling it just fine for the most part.
